¿Who I'm?
My name is Yvonne and I'm the person who create the Blog, I studied Tourism and I specialized in Innovation and Quality of Tourist Destinations. I love to organize trips to the maximum possible detail, I make my husband crazy (with whom I usually travel), looking for a new one every week. Bilingual Catalan and Spanish, I speak German as a father tongue, I also studied English and French in the career.
My husband is called Placi, and although I'm who works on the blog and organized the travels, he is my adventures and crazies partner, and he's who contributes the serenity and "relax" time that all travels should have. He loves the gastronomy and the local customs, then a "must" in any trip is that should have stops in restaurants and bars to taste the typical food of the country!
We love travel, although it is not 100% compatible with our other hobby, the animals ... We have to combine them as we can, because we have dogs and horses ...
We have already visited more than 25 countries and 4 continents as: Europe: Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Holand, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Monaco, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Vatican City, Portugal, Turkey; America: United States and the Dominican Republic; Africa:Morocco; Asia: China (Hong Kong, Macao), Thailand and the Philippines.
Even so, we have a lot of World to see!
In 2012 the first version of LaNaranjaViajera was born with blogspot domain. During the year 2017, we wanted to improve the image that showed the old blog, to adapt it to the new dimension that was acquiring, and we created the new version with own domain. We closed at the end of 2016 the Blogspot domain with 113mil visits.
It went from being a personal blog, to a guide to aid to organize travels of great number of travelers, especially on Thailand category.
Sample of this, and that serve as example, we are within the first 5 positions of Google when searching for "15 días en Tailandia" y "Tailandia por libre" ("15 days in Thailand" and "Thailand for freely").
LaNaranjaViajera was born to explain the experiences lived in our travels, and from them, be able to recommend other travellers what is worth visiting, do, eat, live... and of course, make known little gems discovered during the adventure that gives a special touch to our trip...
With that, we try to collect all possible information so that other travelers can use it without getting lost in the immense network.
With careful travel planning BEFORE catching the flight, a detailed description of our day to day DURING the trip -reflexed on my travel diaries- and a few practical informational articles about the destination AFTER return, I public each post to detail so travellers visiting the Blog, can help themselves to organize his own adventure.
I also think that pictures are very important to visualize better a place, activity or tourist service, because that I add on each post lot of pictures.
LaNaranjaViajera is composed by:
- Travel diaries: Where I explain to detail the day to day of our experiences we live, curiosities we found, food we tasted, hotels where we stayed...
- Destination information: Depending on the country and the information that we have about it, this section becomes a complete tourist guide. Whether there's the Guide or the destination information, I publish here articles with general information about the destination, recommendations of accommodations and restaurants, reflections on the place, recommendation of activities, tips on transfers...
With the passage of the years we are improving that content and actually I think we stand out for our detailed and quality content. I try to make all the posts with the maximum useful information for other travelers, and accompany each article with a good amount of pictures , as we know: “is worth more a picture than a thousand words”.
The blog is divided into two sections:
- Travels: Is the most complete section composed of:
- Travel diaries: We explain in detail our experiences we lived during the travels, curiosities we find, the food we taste, hotels where we sleep…
- Destination information: There, we publish the articles with general information, recommendations of accommodations and restaurants, reflections on a destination …
- Travel guides: Complete guides based on our personal experiences during our travels. Here you can also find all the published articles about the destination.
- Gastronomy: Because we love to try typical dishes from every place we visit and we think is a fundamental part of the travel. We speak about restaurants we visit, gastronomy curiosities and local recipes.
Actually we find more than 250 posts published on the blog, including the following travel diaries:
- Hong Kong – Thailand – The Philippines: With 8 posts
- Helsinki - Hong Kong and Macao: With 5 posts

We are learning, improving and growing day by day!
- Social Networks -
We have some accounts in social networks to broadcast our blog as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and a YouTube channel to complete our blog. Although what we give more importance is on the internal work of the blog. But we know that have presence on social networks today is very important.
